Hopefully you’ve decided to begin your quest towards becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. CNA classes are offered in numerous schools, hospitals, nursing care facilities, and though the Red Cross. The CNA classes will be similar and will offer classroom training as well as practical situation training.
The amount of time it will take to complete your CNA class will vary from class to class. Some may only take a few weeks while other will take a few months. Most CNA classes cost money to take; however, sometimes they are offered free of charge through health care facilities. Sometimes you are required to work for the company for a certain amount of time upon completion of the CNA course.
Once you complete your CNA classes, you will be required to take the CNA certification exam before you can begin your career as a CNA.
